It's definitely fake, it even says so at the beginning of each episode. There just dramatic recreations of real stories. Of course knowing someone who did repo's for years I do know they can get into some pretty crazy situations now and then but this show is obviously exaggerated to make it more interesting. I had a little trouble getting into this show at first though. But to be fair that was partially because at that time I had DirecTV and was stuck with a SD only feed. I've gotten pretty spoiled and hate watching programs in standard definition. That all changed when I switched providers (originally just because my bill was too high), I ended up going with DISH Network--who I later became employed with--and got a lower bill and truTV in HD. As odd as it is, that helped immensely. Once I stopped focusing on the horrible clarity I had on that channel this show grew on me and became one of my favorites.
The last episode on 8/18/2011 was obviously fake. The reason I say this is because when Froy and Matt went into the body shop to do the reposession Matt had a long sleeve shirt under his short sleeve shirt (he must have had a fire retardent protector on the shirt), because when the client set his arm on fire he was fine afterward. And if you notice he NEVER wears a long sleeve shirt under a short sleeve shirt. Also, the BMW has badly sun damaged on the hood, that is why he beat the crap out of the car, it was already a junk.
